Powerade wins PBA draft lottery

MANILA, Philippines – The Powerade Tigers will have the first pick in the upcoming 2011 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) draft.
This is after they won the PBA Draft Lottery last Sunday.
Air21 will have the 2nd pick, while Meralco will take the 3rd pick.

The 1st round of the PBA draft will proceed as follows:

1. Powerade
2. Air21
3. Meralco
4. Rain or Shine
5. B-Meg
6. Alaska
7. Barako Bull/Petron Blaze
8. Barako Bull/Petron Blaze
9. Barangay Ginebra
10. Talk N Text

The #7 and #8 draft spots are yet to be decided as Petron Blaze is still currently competing in the PBA Finals.
If Petron wins the championship, they will take the 8th pick, while Barako Bull will take the 7th pick.
If Talk N Text wins the title, however, Petron will get the 7th pick and Barako Bull will get the 8th pick.
